Recently, the LK IMPRESS-PLUS DCC6000 cold chamber die casting machine was officially put into production at the customer's Vietnam factory. 6000T die-casting machine is currently the largest tonnage model of Lijin Group, and it is also one of the die-casting machines with clamping force over 60,000KN in the world.

The customer who introduced the die-casting machine is South Korea's Glovitech company. At present, the equipment has been successfully put into production at the Glovitech factory in the Van trung Industrial Zone, Yueren District, for the production of 5G telecom base station (RF unit) housing products. Glovitech mentioned that it has successfully achieved mass production of the world's first super-large 5G radio frequency unit housing.

 5G Telecom Revolution The arrival of 5G, whether it is a wireless base station or a terminal mobile phone, has put forward higher requirements on die-casting technology, which will drive a new round of development in the die-casting industry.

The upgrade from 4G to 5G introduces a new architecture for unlimited access networks. The structure of the base station is about three times that of 4G products in terms of volume, weight and power consumption. At the same time, the heat sink of the shell is increased and densified, which makes the structure more complicated.

Lijin Machinery: All-round support and cooperation The entire project was successfully completed in a very short time with the day and night efforts and cooperation of both parties. 

According to reports, in mid-2020, Glovitech purchased a 6000T super-large die-casting machine from Lijin Group; in December of the same year, the equipment arrived at the customer’s factory in Vietnam and began to assemble. It is understood that it only takes one month for LK to assemble the machine. Next to the installation, LK engineers cooperate with the customer to debug the machine and the entire automation solution. In March 2021, the 5G radio frequency housing unit was successfully produced continuously with a pass rate.

Information from Glovitech shows that oversized housing components are a breakthrough in response to the rapid development of the 5G telecommunications industry.

LK 4000T cold chamber die casting machine It is understood that Glovitech also purchased a 4000T cold chamber die casting machine from LK Group. The equipment was delivered to the Vietnam factory in October last year and was put into production earlier than the 6000T model. Glovitech uses these two sets of die-casting islands to produce 5G base station die-casting products, which are mainly supplied to South Korean international communications companies. 

Glovitech was established on July 1, 1989 and is headquartered in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Mainly produce telecommunications equipment parts, medical equipment parts, and LED parts. The company has mold design and manufacturing, die-casting molding, metal processing, painting and other production processes and platforms.
